About Kuzaa

Kuzaa is dedicated to creating awareness and revolutionizing maternal healthcare by leveraging cutting-edge technologies to address perinatal health challenges.

We advocate for the empowerment of pregnant women and mothers worldwide, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), because they need support and care for a healthy and fulfilling motherhood journey.

We aim to promote maternal health awareness through interdisciplinary collaboration, evidence-based research, and community engagement.

Our Mission

To advocate for the increased awareness of maternal health, particularly in low-and middle-income countries. We strive to destigmatize maternal health conditions. We believe that every pregnant woman and new mother should have access to personalized and effective healthcare for a confident and healthy motherhood journey.

Our Vision

To create a world where every mother has access to personalized and effective health care, helping them navigate the complexities of pregnancy and motherhood, with confidence and well-being.

Our organization, Kuzaa, was founded in June 2024 by a collaborative research team of Africans. The idea for the organization came while we worked on a research proposal, in response to a call to apply for a transdisciplinary grant on maternal mental health.
